How to Put On Duvet Cover in 5 Minutes

A duvet cover is highly recommended to protect your silk comforter.  Just wash your duvet cover every two weeks and you will probably never have to dry clean your silk comforter. When you take off the duvet cover to wash, it should be washed with zipper closed and in its reserved side facing out.  By the time the duvet cover is dry and ready to use, you will have the duvet cover reverse side out with buttoned side up.

 

 

 

 

 

Line up zipper side to zipper side or line up equal side of the comforter to the duvet cover. (i.e. width with width, length with length).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Connect all buttons and hooks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make a tic-tac-toe grid in your mind.  Fold one third up at the none zipper side. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fold another third on top.  Now the zipper side should be on top.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make sure the zipper side is on top when you complete above 2 steps. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fold under one third.  Keep in your mind that you want the zipper side to be on top panel when you are done folding the tic-tac-toe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finish folding another third under. Please make sure the zipper side is still on the top layer of all the foldings.

Starting to unfold and pull out to find the seam.  Then, continue to unfold and pull out the conforter following the seam.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Find the edge of the comforter by separating the layers until you find one corner. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Proceed to find all 4 corners. Grab the corners and shake for evenness.  You can as for a second person's help to grab 2 corners each and shake it even.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Close the zipper.  No button and loops should be seen after you close the zipper.
